What is it?

At Wei Aesthetics, we offer two main types of IV treatments: the Modified Myer’s, which is an IV push, and the Myer’s Cocktail, which is an IV infusion. We also have options to include Glutathione in all of our IV treatments.

The Myers Cocktail is a solution of essential vitamins utilized for intravenous micronutrient therapy (IVMT). Originally created in the 1960s to alleviate symptoms of chronic pain, fatigue, and migraines, it has since been found to have broader benefits beyond these conditions. Nowadays, it's widely recognized as the premier option for IV vitamin infusion treatments.

Glutathione is a natural peptide that can be found in every cell of the human body, including immune cells. It consists of three essential amino acids, namely cysteine, glutamate, and glycine, and is commonly referred to as the "master detoxifier" due to its remarkable ability to promote skin health, overall well-being, and body function. While glutathione is naturally present in the body, Remedy Pain Solutions offers IV infusion therapies to increase its levels and promote patients' overall health.

Glutathione is a potent antioxidant that plays a crucial role in various body functions, including:

  • Boosting immune function and aiding in fighting diseases

  • Brightening and lightening skin by reducing hyperpigmentation and inhibiting melanin production in cells

  • Reducing inflammation

  • Aiding in the breakdown and elimination of fat from the body

  • Preventing the body from becoming resistant to drugs

  • Enhancing energy levels and mental clarity

  • Providing anti-aging properties

  • Improving sleep quality and combating stress caused by sleep apnea

  • Detoxifying the body and fighting oxidative stress

How is the treatment done?

We offer two methods of delivery. The IV Push is similar to an injection through a syringe. The IV Infusion is delivered through an IV drip, normally taking around 30 minutes to an hour.

Why receive IV Therapy treatments?

IV therapy is typically recommended for people who cannot consume enough vitamins and minerals through food due to various reasons such as illness, or difficulty in nutrient absorption. However, individuals who suffer from vitamin deficiencies may also benefit from IV therapy.

  • Hydrate the body after extreme exercise or alcohol consumption

  • Improve the immune system, although there is no clear explanation of how this happens

  • Boost energy levels and reduce fatigue

  • Alleviate stress, anxiety, and depression

  • Rid the body of toxins

  • Improve skin health

  • Treat hangovers and headaches

  • Address conditions like asthma, allergies, chronic sinusitis, high blood pressure, fibromyalgia, diabetes, heart disease, acute muscle spasms, Parkinson's disease, and migraine and tension headaches.

Patients who are breastfeeding should only receive the Modified Myer’s or Myer’s + Vitamin C mixture.

How often should I receive an IV Therapy treatment?

IV Therapy treatments should be spaced 1-2 weeks apart. Dr. Wei will assess your condition and records to determine a treatment plan.
