Stretchmark Treatment

Wei Aesthetic Institute offers many different treatments for stretch mark reduction. Different treatments may work for some and not for others. Our doctors and consultants will evaluate you first to create a personalized treatment plan for optimized results.

If you have older stretch marks that are white/silvery in color, we generally recommend a package of 10 Dracula Stretch Mark treatments or Ultimate Stretch Mark treatments. If you have red stretch marks, the ICON 3 for Me is a great option.

The Ultimate Stretch Mark Treatment is a combination of the three ICON treatments we offer at Wei Aesthetics AND microneedling with Growth Factors + PRP. This treatment combination is designed to help maximize the results to reduce stubborn stretch marks.

Dracula Stretch Mark (a.k.a Microneedling with Growth Factor + PRP):

What is it?

Microneedling with growth factors and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a cosmetic procedure that combines the benefits of microneedling with the healing and regenerative properties of PRP.

How is the treatment done?

During the procedure, a small handheld device with tiny needles is passed over the skin, creating micro-injuries that stimulate the skin's natural healing response. This process promotes collagen and elastin production, which can improve the overall texture, tone, and appearance of the skin.

After the microneedling portion of the procedure is complete, PRP is applied to the skin. PRP is a substance derived from the patient's own blood, which contains a high concentration of growth factors and other beneficial proteins that help promote healing and rejuvenation of the skin. The PRP is obtained by drawing a small amount of the patient's blood and then processing it in a centrifuge to concentrate the growth factors and other healing properties. The concentrated PRP is then applied to the skin to further enhance the regenerative effects of the microneedling procedure.

How long to see results?

We recommend six to ten treatments, with four to six weeks between them to allow the skin to heal. Results from microneedling with growth factor and PRP can be seen within a few days to a few weeks after the procedure, and multiple sessions may be required to achieve optimal results.

Why do the procedure/benefits?

Microneedling with growth factor and PRP can be used to address a variety of skin concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, and uneven skin tone and texture. Microneedling reduces stretch marks by improving the collagen content of your skin.

How long is recovery? What does it look like? (Bruising, swelling, etc.)

Most patients experience minimal discomfort during the procedure, and there is little to no downtime required afterward. However, it is important to avoid direct sun exposure and to use a broad-spectrum sunscreen after the procedure to protect the skin.
